about

I wrote this in the early 1990's, not too long after I moved to Nashville. For some reason I didn't record a demo of it until about 10 years later. Again, the lyrics were influenced by traveling out West. (This song was immediately rechristened "Pig Sty," by my children. Considering the state of disarray of my home studio at the time, the name was spot on!)

lyrics

Girl, you look so lost,
I wonder, can you use some help.
Can you help me too,
See, I'm a little lost myself.
You and me are better together, uh huh,
You and me, let's put this thing together,
C'mon, C'mon, C'mon, C'mon.

CHORUS:
We'll cover big ground,
Underneath the big, big sky.
We'll cover big ground,
Beneath the big sky, beneath the big, big sky.

Girl, the world's so cold,
When you face it by yourself.
It doesn't seem that cold,
When you face it with somebody else.
You and me, should face it together, uh huh,
You and me, let's face this thing together,
C'mon, C'mon, C'mon, C'mon.
